Shelby is a character in Piranha 3DD.
History[]
Shelby is a kind girl and close friends of Maddy and Viki, who was dating Josh .
When she and Josh go skinny dipping during a late night party, she jumped in first. Unbeknownst to the love making couple, a pocket of piranha fry were underwater. One small fry nibbled Shelby around her legs before it forcefully makes it's way inside her vaginal canal. Agitated, she accuses Josh of grabbing her privates and quickly leaves the water, leaving Josh confused.
At the water park the next day, Shelby learns from Maddy that neither Travis nor Ashley have shown up to work. As the other employees clean up the area and go about their routines, Shelby becomes nauseous from the piranha ruminating in her body which causes her to vomit on the ground, much to the amusement of Big Dave. Later, she finds out Ashley was missing after her van was pulled out from the bottom of the lake, causing Shelby to become extremely worried to the point of calling her in vain before running off, upset.
Sitting at the edge of the dock, Shelby is then joined by Maddy. The former tearfully voices that while Ashley did some questionable things behind her back, she was still her best friend. The girls are attacked by many juvenile piranhas as the creatures rip up the dock. Shelby falls into the water after losing her balance, but is quickly pulled out by Maddy. Once the girls swim back to solid land, they kill one piranha that shoots out of the water; Maddy repeatedly bashes it's head in with a rock before Shelby finishes it off with a large boulder. Maddy brings it to Mr. Goodman while Shelby stays with Josh.
Later that night Shelby, still saddened over Ashley's whereabouts, the piranha attack and an increasing pain in her stomach, wants Josh to make love with her, as she fears dying a virgin. In the heat of their foreplay sex, she senses something is wrong and the now juvenile piranha rapidly slithers through her insides and out of her vagina, sending Shelby into a mouth-foaming seizure. In the chaos, the piranha bites Josh's penis and he cuts it off. When she awakes, Shelby walks around to find blood splattered everwhere and the piranha that inhabited her dead (along with the tip of Josh's member on the floor) and screams when Josh angrily confronts her with the kitchen knife.
Shelby then informs Maddy what happened, with her crotch covered in blood. Both Shelby and Josh are later hospitalized but still alive.
